Argos customers rush to buy new Freeview rival offering ‘Sky Glass experience’

Sky’s innovative Glass TV is changing the game for UK households with its dish-free internet streaming service.

Currently on offer, this 4K screen brings sports, movies and entertainment right into your living room, and its easy setup has made it a hit.

However, Sky Glass comes with a catch – adding more channels can increase the monthly cost to £26, which can lead to higher bills.

But now there’s Freely, a new player in the streaming market that won’t cost you a penny. Launched just last month, Freely is packed with features like a comprehensive TV scheduler, the ability to pause live broadcasts, and personalized recommendations.

It even offers mini-guides for a quick preview of what’s currently happening and what’s next. For those tempted by the prospect of free live TV without an antenna, many TVs now come with free pre-installed, reflective Sky Glass access. These TVs are quickly gaining traction, reports the Mirror.

Retail giant Argos recently announced price cuts on these top-of-the-range TVs, and it seems customers can’t get enough. Some off-the-shelf models are listed as “in demand” and “selling fast”.

Take the Hisense 50 Inch 50E78NQTUK Smart 4k UHD HDR TV for example. It had an introductory price of £599 earlier this month, but has already been reduced to just £379. • CHECK OUT THE OFFER HERE

If that seems a bit big for your living room, there’s also a deal on the Hisense Freely 43in TV now just £329 – down from £519 • SEE THE DEAL HERE
